Emily and Scott’s Westin Poinsett wedding day was a disco-infused celebration of love. The historic charm of the venue made this an unforgettable occasion. I’m so excited to share more with you about it!
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. Wedding photos are so much more than the posed photos and the detailed timelines. It all about the in-between moments that really speak volumes. And this day held so many special touches that just make this photographer heart the happiest! Here are some of my favorite memories of the day:
Wedding Day Highlights
- Hair & Makeup. Emily was a vision and showcased her talent by doing her own hair and makeup. I love it when my brides take a step away from “what everyone does” in the name of making this day their own!
- The Flower Girl. Emily also extended her talents to the littlest member of the bridal party, doing the flower girl’s hair and makeup. The sight of the adorable flower girl, a mini-me of the bride, was the sweetest thing.
- Outfit Change. This bride’s surprise outfit change was jaw-dropping, show-stopping and left guests in awe (me included). Thinking about switching up your look come reception time? Keep scrolling for inspiration on how Emily totally rocked it!
- Disco, Elton John. The dance floor came alive, and guests were transported to a boogie wonderland. Adding to the disco fever were Elton John and groovy sunglasses. It was a fun and fabulous touch that had everyone channeling their inner rockstars.
Emily and Scott’s wedding was not just a celebration but basically a love story set to music. The disco-infused reception captured the couple’s playful spirit and the joy they have in each other. The Westin Poinsett provided the best vibes for this amazing day. And there is no doubt Emily and Scott’s wedding will go down in history as a as a magical mix of love, laughter, and a whole lot of disco delight. Cheers to the newlyweds. May their journey together be as groovy as their wedding day!
