Recently, I had the joy of photographing the Wurst family—Stacy, Collin, and their adorable son, Augie—during their family photography with toddlers session at North Myrtle Beach. The expansive shoreline and golden light make North Myrtle Beach one of my favorite spots for family photography with toddlers. This beautiful setting provided the perfect backdrop for the Wurst family’s love and connection to shine through in every shot.
The Wurst family’s session was full of joy and laughter, with Augie leading the way. Stacy and Collin’s relaxed approach made for beautiful, natural photos, perfectly capturing their family’s connection.
I’ve had the honor of photographing the Wurst family for three years now, watching them grow from newlyweds to proud parents. North Myrtle Beach was the perfect place to capture this beautiful chapter in their journey!

Jessica and Paul’s sunrise wedding is the start to a beautiful day at Pretty Place Chapel. Tucked perfectly between Greenville and Asheville, Pretty Place Chapel is an incredible. This open-air chapel that feels like you’re on top of the world. The views are just unreal, with mountains stretching as far as you can see—honestly, it’s hard to imagine a more perfect spot to tie the knot.
Jessica and Paul have been together for like, ever. They started out as high school sweethearts, and over the years, their bond has only grown stronger. Paul describes their relationship as “best friends, life partners, me and you against the world,” while Jess says they’re “stronger together.” Their wedding date, August 1st, made it even more special since it marked their 11th anniversary. Getting married on the day they started dating was just the perfect way to celebrate everything they’ve been through together.
The ceremony was simple but so full of meaning. Pretty Place Chapel is in my humble opinion, most beautiful at sunrise! It will bring tears to your eyes watching the sun come up over the jaw-dropping mountain views, it was peaceful atmosphere that really let their love shine. As they said their vows, the sun began to dip behind the mountains, bathing the chapel in this soft, golden light—it was pure magic.
If you’re looking for a wedding venue that’s all about natural beauty and good vibes, Pretty Place Chapel is where it’s at. Jessica and Paul’s day was everything a wedding should be: relaxed, heartfelt, and full of love. It’s proof that sometimes the best moments happen when you’re surrounded by nature and the people you love most.
Waterfalls have been a meaningful part of Jessica and Paul’s love story. After high school, Paul gave Jess a promise ring at Multnomah Falls in Oregon—a moment they’ll always cherish. Four years later, he proposed at Lover’s Leap waterfall in Georgia. These special moments by waterfalls have symbolized their journey, making a stop at Looking Glass Falls, the perfect ending to the morning.

Andrew and Lauren’s wedding at Larkins Sawmill was nothing short of magical! This charming venue in the heart of Greenville is one of my favorites. Larkins Sawmill provided the perfect backdrop for Lauren and Andrew’s winter-themed celebration. I love the exposed brick walls and beautiful wooden beams in the reception space. The features of this venue create a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere that matched their vision perfectly.
The day began with an emotional first look between Lauren and her father. We were all a bit teary eyed as we watched the moment unfold. Before walking down the aisle, Lauren’s father prayed over the couple at the altar. Lauren and Andrew really prioritized the deep spiritual significance of their ceremony. You could just feel the excitement between these two as they said “I do.”
At the reception, Andrew and Lauren surprised their guests with a choreographed first dance that was simple and beautiful. The highlight of the evening was the “We Are Family” song, where both sides of their families danced together. They truly understood the meaning of “two becoming one.”
As the night continued, guests enjoyed an amazing buffet dinner. Lauren and Andrew also wanted to do a photo dance and generation dance. I love capturing little traditions like this that make a reception that much more special!
From the heartfelt prayers to the choreographed dances, every moment was of Lauren and Andrew’s wedding day was perfect! I’m so excited to share more with you on the blog today.

Caroline and Jared’s Greenville engagement photos were full of fun and laughter! Before every session I send my couples a questionnaire to get to know them and their story better. When I was reading through Caroline and Jared’s answers I couldn’t help but smile. Here are a few highlights of what I learned about this sweet and spunky couple!
First, let’s talk about their dynamic. Caroline says Jared is like a golden retriever – fun-loving and light-hearted, always ready for the next adventure. Caroline, on the other hand, is the structured, thoughtful “Type A” personality who keeps things grounded. Together, I must say they balance each other out beautifully.
Caroline and Jared have been best friends for years. And you can tell with every photo. When they were just friends, they were each other’s go-to “relationship counselor.” How cute is that? They know each other like the back of their hand, share core values, and genuinely enjoy each other’s company. It’s no wonder Jared’s parents call them the “love-sick lovebirds.”
Now, let’s dive into their love story. After Caroline broke up with her boyfriend of two years, she naturally called Jared. They hadn’t spoken for two years because Jared realized he had a “conflict of interest” – he had feelings for her! That phone call rekindled their connection, leading to regular FaceTimes and texts. Jared finally asked Caroline on a date, but there was a catch: she lived in Greenville, SC, and he was in Nashville, TN. They decided to meet halfway in Boone, NC, for a charming mountain weekend. The rest, as they say, is history!
Caroline and Jared love staying active and being outdoors. Whether it’s playing tennis, hiking, traveling, or exploring new places, they do it all together. They even spent a year as digital nomads before moving to LA – talk about adventurous!
Their engagement session was more than just photos – it was a celebration of their unique journey together. They laughed, teased each other, and shared sweet moments that showed their deep connection. As they gear up for their wedding, Caroline and Jared can’t wait to bring their friends and family together, who are spread across the country, to celebrate their love story.
Enjoy more from Caroline and Jared’s perfect engagement photos on the blog today from all around downtown Greenville!

At the heart of George and Rachel’s relationship is a beautiful friendship. They truly are each other’s best friends and strongest supporters. While they enjoy shared activities, they also like their individual hobbies. Their bond of almost five years is filled with laughter and mutual respect, and they are eager to start a family of their own and begin their lives together. It was so sweet to capture this precious season with Rachel and George as fiances with Greenville engagement photos!
One of their favorite pastimes is watching TV together. Early on in their relationship, they created a long list of TV shows and movies to watch. They are still working through that list today! Their weekday ritual includes watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy during dinner. They also love outdoor activities, particularly long bike rides on the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Over the years, they’ve embraced “at-home” date nights and love trying out new recipes together. Traveling is another passion of theirs, even though Rachel admits she’s not the biggest fan of flying.
Rachel and George’s journey began back in middle and high school, where they shared mutual friends. But the funny thing is, these two really didn’t hang out back then. It wasn’t until they both moved back to Greenville after college that they reconnected at George’s annual birthday bonfire in 2018. Since then, they’ve navigated the highs and lows of life together. From job layoffs and the loss of George’s grandparents to buying a house and witnessing the birth of George’s identical twin nephews, their experiences have only strengthened their connection as a couple.
George’s love for outer space adds a unique touch to their story. Every year, on the anniversary of his brother’s passing, they visit the planetarium at Roper Mountain Science Center. This tradition honors his brother’s memory and brings George joy on a difficult day.
Despite their differing personalities—George being an introvert and Rachel more outgoing—they find a fun balance in their relationship. They’re homebodies who cherish social interactions but also value their alone time to recharge. I loved getting to know them and their personalities better at this session!
George and Rachel’s Greenville engagement photos capture the essence of their love story. It’s a story of friendship, resilience, and unwavering support. Keep scrolling for all the fun photos from their session!

Emily and Stocks love exploring new distilleries and breweries, so it made perfect sense to have their wedding at Southern Bleachery. This venue is right next to their favorite brewery, 13 Stripes. More on this later. Emily and Stock’s wedding day was full of laidback fun, and I’m so excited to share it with you on the blog!
Emily and Stocks opted out of a first look because they wanted the first time seeing each other to be when Emily walked down the aisle. But Emily did share a super sweet first look with her dad that had us all in tears! Stocks and Emily met as camp counselors, and the alter backdrop displayed a verse from the camp song which is called “Carolina Gave Me You.” Plus, we made sure to get the newlyweds a private moment after the ceremony, as they shared a little walk across the street to 13 Stripes Brewery to grab a beer together.
When I asked what Emily was looking forward to most about her wedding day, she described, “Dancing with Stocks. Celebrating with our friends. We don’t normally dress very formally, so I’m excited for the excuse to dress up and dance to be honest.” And Emily looked stunning in her gown! Just wait to see.
Emily and Stocks’ thoughtfulness was evident throughout every single detail and decoration piece. They chose Southern Bleachery for it’s rustic and industrial feel. But they also liked that they could add their own touch with decor to personalize this space. Their love for breweries showed up in the centerpieces being repurposed whiskey and scotch bottles! Aside from the open bar, the couple created a custom cocktail, “Bourbon Peaches” too!
Stocks is very close to his fraternity brothers, so the reception was full of dancing and fun with this lively bunch! To add to the fun twists of the day, Emily and Stocks planned a “breakfast for dinner” theme with a dessert table, no cake. Instead of the traditional wedding cake, they surprised their guests with donuts! And not just any donuts. Krispy Kreme were delivered as a late night snack, and everyone was happy about that (including me!).
