In the heart of Columbia, South Carolina, two historic gems, the Robert Mills House and Seibels House and Gardens, played host to our wedding styled shoot. I am so excited to announce that my work from this shoot has been featured on Southern Bride! Now that their post has been published, I’m ready to share all the gorgeousness with you.
Robert Mills House, a National Historic Landmark, stands as a testament to classical architecture. Its stately exterior and regal interiors provided the perfect canvas for this shoot. What I love most are the iconic columns and ornate details of this beautiful property.
Adjacent to the Robert Mills House, Seibels House and Gardens offers a stunning outdoor setting. The meticulously manicured gardens are perfect for portraits. We had the styled tablescape outside, showcasing a fun modern flair. Elegant table settings and white floral arrangements brought a touch of simplicity.
The talented team of vendors worked hard to bring this vision to life. And it was so incredible to see the result! Make sure to go give these vendors some love after you scroll through the images!

Fall weddings in the South have my heart! I’m beyond excited to share Hannah-Grace and Hunter’s stunning Schoolhouse Venue wedding.
There’s something truly magical about Schoolhouse Venue in the fall. The exposed brick walls, vintage hardwood floors, and warm tones create a romantic setting. The venue’s historic charm pairs beautifully with the vibrant autumn colors, making it the perfect spot for a cozy, Southern wedding.
One of my favorite things about Schoolhouse Venue is its versatility. You can dress it up or keep it simple, depending on your wedding style. The two-level layout makes the transition from ceremony to reception effortless. Guests can enjoy cocktail hour upstairs while the main space transforms for the celebration.
Hannah-Grace and Hunter’s wedding was the perfect mix of Southern charm and fall beauty. Their vision came to life with warm autumn florals, elegant decor, and sentimental touches. From the first look to the last dance, their day was filled with so much love and laughter.
The venue’s historic atmosphere provided an unforgettable backdrop for their heartfelt vows. Every detail, from the ceremony arch draped in fall florals to the glowing candlelit reception, was stunning. Their guests were surrounded by cozy fall colors, crisp autumn air, and the joy of two families becoming one.
Capturing the magic of a wedding day is all about intentional planning and trusting your photographer. Here are some top tips:
1. Invest in a Skilled Photographer
Choose a photographer whose style aligns with your vision. Look through their portfolio, discuss expectations, and ensure they understand your preferences.
2. Prioritize Lighting
Lighting is key for dreamy photos! Plan outdoor ceremonies during golden hour for a soft, warm glow. If your venue is indoors, check for ample natural light or a well-thought-out lighting setup.
3. Communicate Expectations Clearly
Talk to your photographer about must-have shots and special moments you want captured. If there are cultural traditions or sentimental details, be sure to highlight them.
4. Capture Candid Moments
Some of the best photos happen naturally. Let your photographer capture the in-between moments—the laughter, the tears, and the joyful embraces.
As the sun set, Hannah-Grace and Hunter danced the night away with their closest friends and family. Their Southern-inspired menu, lively dance floor, and heartfelt speeches made the evening unforgettable.
To top it all off, they ended their celebration with a magical sparkler send-off. Watching them walk hand-in-hand through glowing lights was the perfect ending to their perfect day.
If you’re thinking about having a Schoolhouse Venue wedding, keep scrolling for more inspiration from this gorgeous day. A huge congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Mullinax! Wishing them a lifetime of love, happiness, and adventure!

Jackson and Rachel’s Tin Roof Farms wedding was nothing short of magical. From the charming chapel to the elegant reception hall, every moment felt like a dream. Rachel shared, “Tin Roof has a beautiful chapel and a wonderful reception hall with white elegance! It is also close to where Jackson and I currently live before moving in together after the wedding in Newberry, SC.” The venue’s combination of classic beauty and sentimental value made it the perfect place for their special day.
Jackson and Rachel’s journey together began with their very first date at Noble Jones in Augusta, GA. Over a romantic dinner, they talked for hours, getting lost in conversation and laughter. Afterward, they wandered along the River Walk, where time seemed to stand still. That night laid the foundation for something truly special, and little did Rachel know, it would later become the place where Jackson would propose.
We love a good full-circle moment, and this one was especially meaningful. Returning to the very spot where their love story began for such an important milestone made it even more special. Jackson’s heartfelt proposal was a reflection of the love they had built together—steady, thoughtful, and deeply rooted in the moments that mattered most to them.
Throughout their relationship, Jackson and Rachel faced challenges, especially during Jackson’s six-month basic training. Distance was hard, but their love remained steadfast. In every letter they exchanged, they wrote the phrase, “I love you more than anything.” Those words became a promise, a source of comfort, and a reminder of the strength of their love. Standing at the altar, surrounded by family and friends, that promise carried them to the next chapter of their journey.
Their wedding day was a perfect reflection of their love story—timeless, elegant, and filled with meaningful details. The color palette of white, eucalyptus green, and navy added a sophisticated touch to the day, complementing the natural beauty of Tin Roof Farms. The chapel, with its soaring wooden beams and soft, romantic lighting, created a breathtaking setting for their ceremony. As Rachel walked down the aisle, you could see the emotion in Jackson’s eyes. The moment they saw each other was one of those unforgettable, heart-stopping memories.
After a beautiful ceremony, the celebration continued in Tin Roof Farms’ stunning reception hall. The crisp white walls and elegant decor made for a timeless atmosphere, while greenery and candlelit tables set the stage for an intimate and joyous evening. The newlyweds danced, laughed, and soaked in every moment with their guests. The energy on the dance floor was contagious, with family and friends coming together to celebrate the start of their new life as husband and wife.
As the night went on, Jackson and Rachel stepped outside under the open sky. With stars twinkling above them, they shared a quiet moment, taking it all in. It was a perfect way to close out such a special day—not just the end of one chapter, but the start of something even greater.
These two have an incredible journey ahead, and I know they are so excited for what’s to come. Their love, rooted in the simplest yet most powerful words—“I love you more than anything”—will continue to grow as they embark on this new adventure together.
I’m thrilled to share their gorgeous wedding photos on the blog today. Enjoy!

Choosing Zen as the setting for your wedding is a decision you won’t regret. Every corner of this venue is designed to create an unforgettable experience for couples and their guests. Whether you’re dreaming of a sophisticated indoor reception or a romantic courtyard ceremony, Zen has something to offer. Here are some of my favorite highlights of this venue:
Zen seamlessly blends sleek, contemporary architecture with natural elements, creating a space that feels both sophisticated and inviting. Its clean lines, floor-to-ceiling windows, and stylish interior make for a one-of-a-kind wedding atmosphere that balances refinement with warmth.
One of Zen’s biggest strengths is its versatility. Whether you’re planning an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, the venue adapts to your vision. The outdoor courtyard, with its tranquil water features and lush greenery, is perfect for heartfelt vows, while the indoor event spaces provide an ideal setting for an elegant reception.
As the sun sets, Zen truly comes alive. The venue’s built-in lighting transforms the space into a warm, glowing atmosphere that feels both intimate and grand. The modern yet neutral decor serves as a blank canvas, allowing couples to personalize their wedding with floral arrangements, hanging installations, or unique tablescapes.
Jessica and Andrew’s wedding was a perfect reflection of their love—joyful, stylish, and filled with unforgettable moments. From the moment I arrived, I knew it was going to be an incredible day. The couple’s excitement was contagious, and their attention to detail made every part of their wedding feel so intentional and meaningful.
Their ceremony was set against the stunning backdrop of Zen’s courtyard. The soft glow of string lights above them and the lush greenery surrounding them created a romantic, intimate feel. As Jessica walked down the aisle, all eyes were on her, and you could see the love and admiration in Andrew’s face. Their vows were personal and heartfelt, with just the right amount of laughter and tears.
After the ceremony, the celebration continued with a lively reception. Zen’s open-concept layout allowed for a seamless transition from cocktail hour to dinner and dancing. Guests enjoyed delicious food, heartfelt toasts, and a dance floor that stayed packed all night. The DJ kept the energy high, and one of my favorite moments was seeing Jessica and Andrew let loose and truly enjoy themselves with their friends and family.
As the night came to a close, the couple shared one last private dance under the soft glow of the venue’s lights. It was the perfect way to soak in the final moments of their wedding day before heading out into the night as newlyweds.
Jessica and Andrew’s wedding at Zen in Greenville, SC, was an absolute dream to capture. Their love, their people, and this stunning venue made for an unforgettable day.
