Emily and Sean’s AC Hotel wedding was one for the books! First off, I can’t say enough good things about this venue. From the gorgeous hotel rooms for getting ready, the beautiful rooftop space, and the spectacular Jasmine Hall. This venue has a space to fit every taste, and I love how versatile and convenient it all is! Plus, it’s got an amazing view of Greenville’s downtown area.
One of AC Hotel’s favorite is its culinary variety. I’m talking about some amazing food! Emily and Sean treated their guests to a delicious meal prepared in house! And let’s not forget about dessert… I know I don’t!
Not only is the food amazing, but the service at the AC is just next level good. The professional and attentive staff played a crucial role in making sure Emily and Sean’s day was seamless. From the initial planning stages to the final moments of the celebration, the venue’s team worked tirelessly to bring their vision to life.
The venue’s versatile features and commitment to excellence created a wedding day that was as gorgeous as it was unforgettable. Cheers to love, to modern sophistication, and to the irreplacable memories created at AC Hotel! And a big congratulations to Emily and Sean!

In the heart of Columbia, South Carolina, two historic gems, the Robert Mills House and Seibels House and Gardens, played host to our wedding styled shoot. I am so excited to announce that my work from this shoot has been featured on Southern Bride! Now that their post has been published, I’m ready to share all the gorgeousness with you.
Robert Mills House, a National Historic Landmark, stands as a testament to classical architecture. Its stately exterior and regal interiors provided the perfect canvas for this shoot. What I love most are the iconic columns and ornate details of this beautiful property.
Adjacent to the Robert Mills House, Seibels House and Gardens offers a stunning outdoor setting. The meticulously manicured gardens are perfect for portraits. We had the styled tablescape outside, showcasing a fun modern flair. Elegant table settings and white floral arrangements brought a touch of simplicity.
The talented team of vendors worked hard to bring this vision to life. And it was so incredible to see the result! Make sure to go give these vendors some love after you scroll through the images!

Join me as we relive Mckenzie and Khalid’s gorgeous wedding at The Rutherford. This day was incredible and filled with family. I was so honored to take part in this couple’s love story.
These two met on Mckenzie’s 22nd birthday (10 years ago!) and hit it off from there. They loved each other’s fun and outgoing personalities from the start. The couple said, “We’d be the couple on the dance floor doing the robot and running man trying to make others laugh at our silly moves.”
Four years ago, their lives changed when their daughter arrived! Mckenzie and Khalid found out they were pregnant in August 2020 and eloped in October 2020. It was such an exciting time for them! “Living together and being married has been the most fun and we have so much to be thankful for now with Merritt and the life we are blessed with. Our younger selves would be so proud and happy to know we made it!!”
Surrounded by family and friends, Mckenzie and Khalid exchanged vows committing forever to one another. McKenzie, a vision of grace in her gown, and their daughter wore a white dress to match. She is the cutest!
The Rutherford’s exposed brick walls and lofty ceilings offer a rustic yet sophisticated atmosphere. The intimate courtyard is complete with romantic twinkling lights. And I love taking portraits out here once the sun gets a little lower in the sky. I really appreciate how this venue’s versatility allows for seamless transitions from ceremony and wedding vows to the getting down on the dance floor.
McKenzie and Khalid’s wedding at The Rutherford was a celebration of family and commitment. You could just sense the sheer amount of love these two have from their families, and I was so honored to capture that. Cheers to the happy couple and the timeless charm of The Rutherford!

Fall weddings in the south have my heart! I’m so excited to share Hannah-Grace and Hunter’s stunning Schoolhouse Venue wedding with you.
Schoolhouse Venue looks the most beautiful during the fall season. The exposed brick walls and vintage hardwood floors complement the natural beauty of the property. I love that you can dress the space up or down based on the vibe for your wedding. And the two separated levels of the venue make the transition from ceremony to reception totally seamless.
Hannah-Grace and Hunter’s fall wedding at Schoolhouse Venue was the perfect mix southern charm and peak autumn colors. The venue’s historic aesthetic was the perfect backdrop for these two to become one! I also want to share some of my top tips for amazing wedding photos here.

In the heart of North Carolina, Kevin and Josie prepared for their gorgeous Spinning Leaf at the Vineyard wedding day. This venue has naturally beautiful outdoor spaces. And the charming setting of small-town Shelby reflects their connection to North Carolina. I’m so excited to relive this day with you on the blog!
As the anticipation of the day began, Josie was planning a sweet surprise for Kevin. It was a safety pin with pictures of Kevin’s late grandfather, great grandmother, and great grandfather. He loved this special gift! I love when my couples bring in little touches like this to ensure that beloved family members are present in spirit.
The surprises didn’t stop there. Josie wore an overskirt for the ceremony. Then she surprised guests by removing this layer for the reception. We are here for brides have multiple looks on their day!! She wanted to share a second “first look” with Kevin before the reception, and it truly was the sweetest thing.
Detail shots were also extra special for this couple. The stones in the ring symbolize the couple’s time spent together in Montana. Josie planned to attach rings and jewelry belonging to her late sister and aunt to her bouquet. I love this sweet tribute.
Some guests traveled from as far as Montana to be there. The dinner selection was nod to the couple’s love for great food and trying new restaurants. It was the yummiest BBQ! The dessert table had a carefully curated selection from local bakeries. I can testify to how amazing and delicious everything was!
Cheers to Kevin and Josie, may your marriage be as magical as your incredible wedding day!

Jackson and Rachel’s Tin Roof Farms wedding was so perfect! Rachel shared, “Tin Roof has a beautiful chapel, and a wonderful reception hall with white elegance! It is also close to where Jackson and I currently live before moving in together after the wedding in Newberry, SC.” I agree that the venue’s chapel set the stage for a stunning ceremony!
Jackson and Rachel’s love story began with their first date at Noble Jones in Augusta, GA. A romantic dinner set the tone for a perfect evening. Then they strolled along the River Walk, where they simply lost track of time. This picturesque setting held a special place in their hearts, making it the perfect location for Jackson to propose. We love a good full-circle moment around here too.
As they navigated the challenges of Jackson’s 6-month basic training, the couple’s favorite phrase to write in letters was “I love you more than anything.” This simple yet loving saying led them to their wedding day. And you could just feel it echoing throughout every detail of the day.
The wedding’s color palette featured whites, eucalyptus green, and navy. It was an elegant choice. The sophistication of Tin Roof Farms made it a perfectly timeless day with the pictures to prove it.
As they danced the night away under the stars, it marked not just the end of one chapter but the beginning of a lifetime together. I know these two are so excited for what lies ahead for them! Enjoy their gorgeous photos on the blog today!
