Taylor and Collin’s wedding at Tin Roof Farms was full of details that I think every couple should consider adding to their wedding day.
Taylor was super intentional when planning the details of the day
Here are the details you’ll want to have ready on your wedding day for beautiful photos:
Check out how Taylor did this on her wedding!
The first flat lay was a “Love Story” collection. It featured sentimental keepsakes from their dating days. The items included confetti from a Taylor Swift concert in Atlanta and a golf ball with a four-leaf clover. This was a nod to the day they met. It also had the birth certificate of their Build-A-Bear named “Lucky.” Taylor save and dried flowers Collin had given Taylor were also included. Taylor and Collin had a date night were the made cake plates for cutting the cake. Each piece held a memory, adding extra meaning to their wedding day.
For the wedding day flat lay, Taylor selected items that highlighted the day’s special details. This flat lay included custom stationery from Hudson Park Paper Co. It also featured a custom perfume Taylor made in Savannah after her bachelorette weekend. These small, thoughtful touches made everything feel so personal.

Taylor also embraced the “something borrowed” tradition with three meaningful items. She borrowed a blue sapphire ring that I received from my husband when we were dating. She also borrowed the veil Virginia, a bridesmaid, wore on her wedding day. Additionally, she wore pearls from Collin’s mom. These pieces connected her wedding day to the love stories that came before.

One of the sweetest touches was how Taylor included her nieces, Elle and Millie. She let them borrow necklaces that Uncle Collin had given her. Instead of traditional table numbers at the reception, each table was named after one of Taylor’s 1st-grade students. The students described love with phrases like “Love is caring for another” and “Love is holding hands.”
Taylor and Collin’s wedding shows how brides can get creative. Incorporating sentimental elements can make a wedding day truly reflect a unique love story.

Devyn and Michael’s Hotel Hartness wedding was truly incredible! One of the standout features of their day was their choice of venue. Hotel Hartness perfectly complemented their vision for European flair. Devyn and Michael wanted their wedding to feel like a true escape, and this venue delivered just that!
Their love for blending Southern charm with European flair was reflected in their catering choices. Guests were treated to a unique fusion of upscale Southern dishes alongside Mediterranean dips and sides. The guests loved this combination of flavors. Their signature drinks added another personal touch. Devyn’s lavender lemonade was a refreshing and light choice. Michael chose an Old Fashioned for a sophisticated touch. It was details like these that made their wedding uniquely theirs!
As the evening continued, the celebration moved onto the best party in Hotel Hartness’s elegant ballroom. The atmosphere was filled with love, laughter, and joy. The party was a perfect reflection of Devyn and Michael’s relationship. Friends and family were eager to celebrate this beautiful couple!
It an absolute honor to be a part of this day! From the sweet first look to the fun bubble exit, everything was like a dream. I can’t wait to share more of their Hotel Hartness wedding with you on the blog.

Katie and Seth’s Dreamy Lake Jocassee Engagement Session
Lake Jocassee was not the original plan Katie and Seth’s engagement session. They are getting married next year at Duncan Estate but they wanted to get their engagement photos done as soon as possible. I was so excited for our planed session at.. Jumping off Rock. Turns out we could not find the access road and decided to pivot to Lake Jocassee. This is your sign to always have a backup plan.
As a couple who describe themselves as introverted, it was heartwarming to see how they truly lit up when they were together. Their connection was evident in every glance and smile, making the session incredibly special.
We kicked things off on the serene beach of Lake Jocassee, where the calm waters and stunning backdrop set a perfect stage. The South Carolina summer weather, however, had other plans. We started the session with some overcast skies and finished in the pouring rain!
Despite the weather’s unpredictability and a little adventure involving getting lost, we managed to capture some beautiful shots. We ended the session on the dock, where the skies decided to open up. The last five minutes were a dramatic downpour, but Katie and Seth embraced it with such grace and joy. Their ability to find beauty in the rain was nothing short of magical.
After delivering the photos, Katie sent me a touching message: “I’m so grateful for you and your art. You took terrible weather and made it the most beautiful, dreamy day.” It’s moments like these that remind me why I love what I do. Katie and Seth’s engagement session at Lake Jocassee was a perfect example of how love can shine through even the most unexpected circumstances.

Recently, I had the joy of photographing the Wurst family—Stacy, Collin, and their adorable son, Augie—during their family photography with toddlers session at North Myrtle Beach. The expansive shoreline and golden light make North Myrtle Beach one of my favorite spots for family photography with toddlers. This beautiful setting provided the perfect backdrop for the Wurst family’s love and connection to shine through in every shot.
The Wurst family’s session was full of joy and laughter, with Augie leading the way. Stacy and Collin’s relaxed approach made for beautiful, natural photos, perfectly capturing their family’s connection.
I’ve had the honor of photographing the Wurst family for three years now, watching them grow from newlyweds to proud parents. North Myrtle Beach was the perfect place to capture this beautiful chapter in their journey!

Jessica and Paul’s sunrise wedding is the start to a beautiful day at Pretty Place Chapel. Tucked perfectly between Greenville and Asheville, Pretty Place Chapel is an incredible. This open-air chapel that feels like you’re on top of the world. The views are just unreal, with mountains stretching as far as you can see—honestly, it’s hard to imagine a more perfect spot to tie the knot.
Jessica and Paul have been together for like, ever. They started out as high school sweethearts, and over the years, their bond has only grown stronger. Paul describes their relationship as “best friends, life partners, me and you against the world,” while Jess says they’re “stronger together.” Their wedding date, August 1st, made it even more special since it marked their 11th anniversary. Getting married on the day they started dating was just the perfect way to celebrate everything they’ve been through together.
The ceremony was simple but so full of meaning. Pretty Place Chapel is in my humble opinion, most beautiful at sunrise! It will bring tears to your eyes watching the sun come up over the jaw-dropping mountain views, it was peaceful atmosphere that really let their love shine. As they said their vows, the sun began to dip behind the mountains, bathing the chapel in this soft, golden light—it was pure magic.
If you’re looking for a wedding venue that’s all about natural beauty and good vibes, Pretty Place Chapel is where it’s at. Jessica and Paul’s day was everything a wedding should be: relaxed, heartfelt, and full of love. It’s proof that sometimes the best moments happen when you’re surrounded by nature and the people you love most.
Waterfalls have been a meaningful part of Jessica and Paul’s love story. After high school, Paul gave Jess a promise ring at Multnomah Falls in Oregon—a moment they’ll always cherish. Four years later, he proposed at Lover’s Leap waterfall in Georgia. These special moments by waterfalls have symbolized their journey, making a stop at Looking Glass Falls, the perfect ending to the morning.
