This year felt less about numbers and more about meaning. I stopped measuring success by how full my calendar looked and started paying attention to how each session felt. That shift brought clarity, balance, and a deeper sense of joy. Over time, I’ve learned that being a wedding and family photographer isn’t just about showing up with a camera, but about showing up fully for the people in front of me.

Throughout the year, I showed up with intention and presence. I take capturing memories very seriously, but I never want it to feel heavy. Photography should feel joyful, even when it is meaningful. Laughter, movement, and imperfect moments often tell the most authentic stories. Those are the images families come back to long after the gallery is delivered.

One of the greatest gifts this year was getting to know the people God placed in my life. Each family trusted me with moments that mattered to them, and that trust never goes unnoticed. Their stories shaped my work in ways far deeper than any number ever could. Because of them, my calling as a Greenville Family Photographer feels both grounded and purposeful.

At the same time, our personal life brought unexpected challenges. Emmett received a new diagnosis of intellectual disability, and we are learning how to navigate this new season with care and intention. It has required patience, flexibility, and a willingness to redefine progress. Even so, we are committed to serving him well and loving him fully where he is.

Joy still found us in the middle of it all. The girls are doing great at school, which has been a steady encouragement. Elle is thriving in tumbling and growing in confidence every week. Millie is already counting down the days until she starts dance. Watching them grow continues to ground me and remind me to celebrate small wins.

Looking ahead, I feel hopeful and grateful. I already have seven weddings booked for 2026, and that is something I do not take lightly. More than dates on a calendar, I am excited for the people God will bring into my life through this business. This work is not something I diminish; it is a blessing and an opportunity I hold with deep gratitude. As a Greenville family and wedding photographer, I move forward choosing balance, joy, and faith in every season.
