Hotel Domestique
Just outside Greenville in Travelers Rest, Hotel Domestique feels like a little piece of the European countryside tucked into the foothills of South Carolina. With its beautiful architecture, mountain views, intimate grounds and relaxed atmosphere, it’s an incredible choice for couples who want their wedding to feel like a destination without leaving the Upstate. I especially love how many beautiful portrait locations are right on the property—the landscape and architecture make Hotel Domestique one of the most distinctive wedding venues near Greenville, SC.

Events at Judson Mill
For couples who love historic character with a modern edge, Events at Judson Mill is one of my favorite Greenville wedding venues. The original brick, exposed beams, large windows and industrial architecture are a nod to Greenville’s textile history while still giving couples a beautiful, flexible space to make their own. From the natural light pouring through the windows to the brick exterior and surrounding mill property, Judson Mill gives wedding photographs so much texture and variety.

Huguenot Mill & Loft
Located along the Reedy River in downtown Greenville, Huguenot Mill & Loft is full of the historic character that makes Greenville so special. The exposed brick, wood floors and large windows create a warm, timeless backdrop while its downtown location gives couples easy access to some of Greenville’s most recognizable scenery. I love Huguenot Mill for couples who want a wedding venue that feels distinctly Greenville while still leaving plenty of room to make the celebration feel like their own.

Avenue
If you picture your wedding right in the heart of the city, Avenue offers one of the best views of downtown Greenville. The rooftop terrace, modern indoor space and Greenville skyline create a setting that feels polished without being overly formal. One of my favorite parts of photographing weddings at Avenue is sneaking onto the rooftop around sunset for portraits—the city becomes part of the backdrop, giving the photographs a sense of place that immediately feels like downtown Greenville.

The Poinsett Club
For couples drawn to something classic and traditional, The Poinsett Club is a beautiful Greenville wedding venue with a completely different feel from the city’s more modern event spaces. Its historic architecture and elegant interiors create a timeless setting that works especially well for traditional Southern weddings and formal celebrations. I love photographing weddings here because the venue already has so much character—the rooms, architecture and grounds give photographs a sense of history without needing to manufacture it.
Zen
Zen is a wonderfully versatile Greenville wedding venue, especially for couples who want their ceremony, cocktail hour and reception to happen in one place. Between the garden spaces and modern interiors, there are several distinct backdrops throughout the property, which allows each part of the wedding day to have its own feel. From a photography perspective, I love having that variety—the greenery outside and contemporary spaces inside create a wedding gallery that feels diverse without having to travel between locations.
Gassaway Mansion
There’s nothing quite like Gassaway Mansion for couples who love historic homes, architecture and a little bit of old Greenville charm. The mansion and surrounding grounds give the wedding day an unmistakable sense of place, with beautiful spaces for everything from getting ready to portraits and the celebration itself. As a photographer, I especially love all of the layers a historic property brings to a gallery—the staircases, windows, architecture, gardens and unexpected little pockets of light make Gassaway Mansion one of the most recognizable Greenville wedding venues.
